linguistics information for everyone

3.4.4 University of Edinburgh

with one comment

In case you’ve never heard of this school, it’s arguably the best place to study modern linguistics in the UK, and it’s in Scotland, which is awesome. Like other UK schools, the University of Edinburgh does a lot of work in experimental phonetics, but also includes major programs in computational, cognitive, and applied linguistics. We know of one Harvard undergrad who went to the University of Edinburgh with the Marshall Scholarship and taught in France. For more information, check out
