6.2.1 Introduction

In mid March, most schools hold open houses that are scheduled such that you could theoretically attend each one in succession. For some of these visits, you’ll already know that you got in. For others, you will be visiting with a bunch of finalists. But either way, visiting schools for the open house is definitely worth it; you don’t want to make a five-year commitment to a place you’ve never seen.
